"My most favorite out of the series, loved this story and loved the characters! Vonda has a way of drawing the reader into her stories and making the characters come alive for us. They are believable and have their flaws as we all do and I think that endears them to me even more. I've now read the complete series several times over and found them to be enjoyable and mesmerizing all over again, can't wait for her next story or series to be published! Out of all the books in this Highland Adventure Series, My Notorious Highlander has got to be the most captivating.  Sure they all have their heroes that get their mate but this story’s hero “Torrin” is in a league on its own.

This story totally captivated me because the author’s visualized words transformed a friendship that blossomed between Torrin and Jessie as if they were best friends instead of lusty lovers.  Sure their chemistry sizzled and steamed up the pages but what made it so special was the fact you could feel the sincerity and emotions from the friendship built.  The trust built between them was the security blanket of safety, protectiveness, and a feeling of being cherished for a lifetime.

The plot was filled with humorous drama when Gregor MacBain shows up and desides he wants Jessie back even though he set her aside 3 years past.  I have to say it was fun seeing Torrin besting Gregor at every turn – they were like two roosters fighting over her with their blindsided jealousy getting the best of them.  I have to high five Torrin for making Gregor look like the weasel scum he truly was.

Overall, the story was beautiful and heartwarming.  I got teary eyed at the end with happiness in my heart as Jessie’s reality hits home and Torrin is gifted with the one wish he has been waiting for through this Highland Adventure.  This is one story I will always love and cherish. It is a true testament to never stop fighting for what you want and believe in.

"Vonda teamed up with Dave Gillies to bring us an amazing rendition of Book 5 in Vonda's wonderful Highlander series. I have read and adored all of the books in this series and was eagerly awaiting the audio to be released. Dave does a masterful job of breathing life into Vonda's exciting characters, I have bought all the audios in addition to purchasing the books. Torrin was one of my favorite male characters introduced in one of the earlier books. I love how Vonda carries her characters through the series and weaves the stories together. Dave Gillies just makes the characters pop out of the book and into my home with his amazing ability to breath life into such a variety of characters using his distinctly different voices and sexy brogue.
